Argentinian- born soccer player is widely considered to be the best player of all time. It makes so much sense as to why he is also known as The Atomic Flea, at only 13 years old Messi joined Barcelona and is now challenging Pele for the crown of greatest ever football player. Besides being one of the best football players in the world, he is also the highest-paid sportsman. At only 32 years old and a remarkable career we cant wait to see what else is in store for Leo.
Diego Maradona
Another Argentina soccer star with superior talent is Diego Maradona, at 59 years old he is now a retired player, he is a soccer manager and currently the coach of the Argentine Primera División club Gimnasia de La Plata. Considered by so many as one of the greatest soccer players of all time as well as the most impressive dribbler. Although he admits that he did not always play by the rules during his prime, he still much loved by all his fans.
Pele
No list is ever complete without this soccer extraordinaire. The Brazilian born star is considered to have supernatural soccer abilities that dazzled crowds around the world. A World Cup winner in 1958, 1962, and 1970, it is no wonder he is thought of as the greatest soccer player of all time. Pele was a superb striker and dribbler of the ball and scored an amazing 760 official goals during his career. We hope to see many more stars like this in future generations.
Christiano Ronaldo
With his speed, athleticism, and rigorous attacks, the Portuguese wizard, Cristiano Ronaldo is as unstoppable as it gets. The superb forward has enjoyed plenty of team success, having captained Portugal to victory in Euro 2016 and claimed a record five Champions League trophies with Manchester United and Real Madrid. Although he may not be as great as his other soccer counterparts, he is still no doubt one exceptional soccer player.
Zinedine Zidane
This French soccer star became Europe’s most celebrated master as an attacking midfielder. A champion across all levels, “Zizou” scored one of the greatest goals in UEFA Champions League history with a left-foot volley. Who can forget the very memorable moment of him walking past the Jules Rimet trophy having been sent off for headbutting Marco Materazzi in the 2006 World Cup final? But having a shameful moment like that still doesn’t take away his impressive career which included three FIFA Player of the Year awards, a Golden Ball, and three domestic league titles. He is definitely an amazing soccer player, right?
