Stephen Curry — $40.2 million
Stephen Curry has been in the game for five years as the point guard for the Golden State Warriors. Although he suffered a hand injury this season, resulting in only playing in four games this season, he is still the highest-paid player in the league. Why you may ask? Thanks, to a supermax deal he signed in 2017, he’s the highest-paid player in the NBA and the only player in the league currently making north of $40 million for his services.
Russell Westbrook — $38.5 million
Westbrook plays as the point guard for the Houston Rockets. This skilled athlete is not only one of the highest-paid players in this position, but he is also incredibly successful from his endorsement deals. Just last year he brought home $18 million.
Chris Paul — $38.5 million
The Oklahoma City Thunder player sees no chance of leaving his team. When Paul was asked if he would think about leaving the final year of his current contract — a $44.2 million option for 2021-22. He quickly dismissed the offer and said, “No chance, nope.” Nothing will stop this man.
John Wall — $38.2 million
While you probably haven’t seen much of John Wall on the court since his 2016-2017 season. He still brings home the bacon. That season he averaged nearly 23 points and 11 assists making it quite the legendary match. Even if he plays or doesn’t play, he will still make $40 million a year for the upcoming three seasons.
